Got new curtains coming soon. When closed they will hang away from the windows. I was trying to think of some method other than the springy white curtain wire to tuck them behind to keep light out, as that might look a bit naff. Anyone using any other methods ?

It has been discussed on here before but quite a few people sew small magnets into the hem and attach others to the bodywork. Could also use Velcro.

Do the magnets not hold to the bodywork?

Usually, depends on the strength of them or if they hang a bit lower than the originals.

Rather than tucking the curtains behind the wire, thread the wire through the bottom of the curtains.
