Gearbox and selector advice

OK a bit of a long one this but just want to be certain before ordering any parts as I have a bit of a strange situation.

So originally my 1983 T25 had a DG engine and according to the van details label a DW gearbox which is I believe 5 speed?

Now a long time ago someone put a Golf Mk1 Gti 1.8 Engine in and from what I can gather the 4 speed box it has now. Unfortunately I cannot find the gearbox code for the life of me due to the corrosion. If anyone could help me locate this that would be a huge help, I cannot find anything detailed online on where to find it.

Now I am having 3rd gear crunching issues after forcing it out of 1st when it got stuck (long story, idiotic when clutch cylinder went) so I want to replace the parts on the gear linkage to make selection tighter.

Problem is as I think someone changed the DW 5 speed to the current unknown 4 speed I do not know what parts I should order, I did however make a quick video and uploaded it to youtube showing the linkage parts.

Can anyone comment on what it shows?

Ideally I would like a complete repair kit like this: https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/t ... etrol.html however I can only find 5 speed and I am not sure if my parts are 4 or 5, or if it even matters? It doesn't help the listing does not show the image of the parts either.

So in short.
1) Are my linkage parts 4 or 5 speed to purchase?
2) Are my linkage parts early type as the the vehicle chassis number says March 1983
3) Anyone know of all included kits I could get rather than all parts individually?
4) Any help with gearbox code (shown later in video)
5) Any comments on the gear selector movement I showed in the video? Look normal

To find code look under right side of box , forward of drive shaft, use sandpaper to clean up. You got late linkage, the 4 and 5 speed gear lever parts underneath the cab floor are not the same.
