Hi,

I am just about to cut off my old and very holey roof and guttering's (solid one ready to go on) can anyone advise where the best place is to cut I have the struts down to just above the bottom part of the window on the new one or can anyone advise of someone to do this near DE11 South Derbyshire.

Thanks,

Steve. :ok

I Don't know the answer to your Question Steve, but I would be extremely interested to see some photo's of your progress as my roof is terminal, Rotted through completely all the way from the front to the back.

I've been told a roof cut would be the most cost effective way of progressing but I'm not sure how much I want to go scalping my bus.

Dave.

depends on fac glass or conversion,
the pillars have reinforcing additions and you dont ever want to just cut through horizontally (this will also make a weak join)you need to unpick the pillars to expose the inners and do it in such a way as to be able to reweld each part, its complex to do right and sadly i havent a thread on it as i did these years ago but if you post up picks i may be able to advise
