Any Bosch efi pump with 11mm inlet and 7mm outlet will do. Brickwerks sell a good oem T3 pump but you will need the bracket and rubber mounts too.
Well done on converting away from filthy diesel btw

Sure I read somewhere, someone ran without a swirl pot as there is enough head of fuel in the filter and they just never went below quarter of a tank. Don't know how they got on though.
With price of Mk2 pump/filter/pot assemblies getting a tad silly, best viable (and still VW

) solution I found is to use a Mk1 cab pot/reservoir. Fits very nicely to chassis rail. Will find a link.....

Before you click on link, don't panic.......

Just ebay tax. About £45 from heritage. Sure your local TPS will do them. Maybe cheaper still.
Got the part number for the proper bracket/strap somewhere. About £6 IIRC

But if you use a DJ/MV/SS fuel tank no swirl pot required. Using a DG or JX tank you will still need to add the 11mm outlet (dicey for the inexperienced)
SA buses dont have an extetnal swirl pot for the inline 5.
Or am I missing the point?

Indeed chap- took a guess that as OP was asking about pumps he didn't have a 2.1 tank as he'd just use what's there
Few out there running non injection tanks with no apparent adverse results.
Can't say I've ever looked inside a SA injection tank? Same size outlet and sump as Eurospec one? Hence no external pot?

Me neither, although no excuse with the access cover in the floor to get to the sender etc or do all 2wd have that feature? (never had a Hannover-built bus...)
Outlet and return are same as Euro 2.1 tank afaik
