VW T25 DG Engine Stalling

Hi,
I wonder if someone out there can help me.
I have a 1.9 petrol water-cooled T25.
The engine runs fine, but on occasion it stalls usually when slowing up to lights or roundabouts.
Strange thing is it doesn't do it all the time - its just an intermittent fault.
As soon as it stalls it starts straight away (or even bumps) if in motion.
I have replaced the ignition idler module, cleaned the coil plugs and distributor.

I am unsure what to try next. Any help would be most appreciated
Thanks in advance.
John

Stalling when warm is a symptom of a weak mixture.
Usually caused by dirt in the idle jet.
Or an air leak into the inlet side.

I had the same problem recently. It would run fine when cold (i.e. on choke) but when warm would cut out at every junction and traffic lights but would always restart or I would keep it rolling and bump start it. As per the last reply it dawned on me must be a weak mixture since it was fine on choke.
Turned out to be two leaks on the inlet side, one the choke pull down unit wouldn't hold vacuum ( despite being nearly new) and the second, the vacuum pipe from the air filter housing wouldn't hold vacuum either. I pulled off the pipes and plugged them with a self tapper as a temporary measure and it was fixed straight away. I replace the choke pull down unit later but just left the other pipe blocked off.
