Hi all.

I've got a doka and bought a roof tent for it today, it has been mentioned that there may a limit to the weight I can put on the guttering.

Does anyone know if there is a set limit or is it a case of common sense?

The VW manual gives a figure of only 75kg but that would be the load under driving conditions, i.e. accelerating, braking, etc. Static loading parked with a roof tent opened can presumably be higher.

That makes sense.

I'll scrap the diet then.
