Near side indicator bulb holder, connections

or not after today.......so tell me again why we removed them to paint the van? Surely we could have just used masking tape?
The offside one is fine. Holder is fine, bulbs fine, went back no problem.
Near side one......the rubber boot was holding it all together as the bulb holder clip has long since broken. So came to put it all back and the wires, well spade end terminals disintegrated.....and the only ones we have at home are far too big, but I did try, I really did try, even got the bulb working (it got really hot) but couldn't hold it together.
So do I have to buy a new bulb holder and try to get the rubber boot to fit properly, or do I simply need two tiny terminals, a lot of patience and a following wind?

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is going right just now,

Without a picture it's guesswork.

Sorry, unhelpful I know, but didn't have time to take a pic, and I need to get things back together ASAP. Camper is my transport and is needed......maybe wasn't a good time to start taking bits off..... :run
Will take the bulb holder to my garage today, see if they have a couple of terminals I can use.

If the holder was in tact and not corroded then you need to cut off the crimps strip the wire back and fit new crimps.
If the holder was broken then you need to replace that.
