I understand the basic principles but can someone please give advice on where to take the relay trigger wire from on a Caravelle.
Where is easiest to connect and run wire? Cheers

On my velle it runs under the van to the "W" terminal on the back of alternator.

The easiest way would be to buy a SMART voltage sensing relay that doesn't need a trigger...simply connect battery to battery (with a 40 amp fuse) and let the relay do the rest. Otherwise I fear you will need to trace back the ignition lamp feed and use that.
