Front seat belts, are they handed?

If someone in the know could very kindly tell me, does it matter which side they are fitted to? Cheers, Jon.

They have left and right part numbers so yes, i should have a pair of seat belts from an early van somewhere, fairly low mileage aswell.

Thanks, well I've managed to find one for a very good price so 50/50 chance it's the one I need! Fingers crossed.

Handed? The only thing that changes is the bit that slots into the stalk and you just flip it so it faces the other way on the belt. Otherwise they're identical. I know because I just fitted two new ones. You'll see what I mean when you come to fit it.

Hopefully will be OK then. Had a pre mot check yesterday and the old belt came up as frayed so another reason to replace. Thanks Covkid, look forward to fitting it now!
