Annoying intermittent squeal

Evening All

My van has recently developed an annoying high pitched squeal, Started hearing it after 10 miles or so & at fast A road & motorway speeds.

Can't really pin down which wheels its coming from when I'm driving.
I had all the wheels off recently and cleaned out a shed load of dust from the rears which I was convinced was the problem...it wasn't!

There are no other clonks on extreme lock and I could not not feel any play in the bearings (but I am no expert!)

Any ideas what it could be?

Front brake pads squealing. Happens in a straight line and stops when steering.

I get it when new front pads have been fitted for a few thousand miles. Yes it's annoying.

You could try smearing the back of the pads with copper grease and/or changing the anti-squeal springs, but no sure fire cure that I've found.

As Colin suggests :ok
Also cheap pads do this, and partially seized caliper pistons
