What do you carry?

Had my first proper go at off roading today. Went up to Glentarkie in Scotland which is a dedicated off road centre.
It was fantastic. The hill had around half a dozen other 4x4's on it today and boy did I get some amused and surprised looks. Astonishment in some faces as I attempted some quite exciting bogs, hills, ruts etc. I did manage to take the end off my front bumper at one point in a rather large muddy hole. Anyway it was a hoot and top marks go to Russell at Syncro Nutz for the upgrades he made to an already capable vehicle.
Anyway What I'd like to know is when offroading;
1. What tools do you carry?
2. What recovery equipment do you carry/have?
3. What PSI should I be running my tyres when heading through mud?
4. If I buy a winch for the front how do I mount it?
5. Can anyone recommend where I can get more heavy duty bumpers?
Thanks in advance

TORCH!
Spade, Silky Saw, Axe, Heavy Duty MOD towing straps & Connectors, A few Shackles, 4T Hand Winch, Chain, Diesel Jerry can, Cable ties, Gaffa tape.
Water, Coolant, Oil, Dot4, Alternator Belt.
General tool box (all sorts of goodies). Socket set.
OOh, and a bit of old carpet to lay on!
Must get myself a High Lift Jack too, just know im going to need one if i dont.....
If you stick to a hand winch you'll be able to use it on the back too!
Try 'Futbus' i think he is planning to/has made some projectzwo style bumpers from heavy duty tubing.

The only thing I carry with me is my taxi fare home / friend to tow me home. Leave your bumpers alone they are just fine as they are. If anything take them off before you start having fun and you will have even better approach angles if that possible with your van

Was it Sunday that you went up to Glentarkie. I saw you coming back down the m90 at about 2.30 you did not look in that a bad nick. In fact i never even noticed any excess of mud on you.

Yep was me. They have a jet wash at the site so you can clean most of the crap off.
