hi there
i noticed water dripping from front of van earlier
on closer inspection i have noticed the bottom right hand corner of rad is leaking i think beside where the wires connect in.
when i looked at haynes manual it looks as though the pipe work is at the other side beside the where clutch master cylinder pipe work comes through.
would i be right in thinking this,
also can you buy radiator seal or anything like that
the van is an 85 , 1.9 petrol water cooled

Not a fan of radiator sealant.
Save up for a new rad.
You have some time yet.

i took a picture but its a bit dark to see properly. i will have a better look in morning,
is it worth using rad seal in time being . before i buy a new radiator,
i take it you need to drain all coolant out of system when doing the radiator

I wouldn't put anything in it
Just keep it topped up.
Yes the coolant has to be drained from the rad not all of it.
Took me a leisurely morning to complete.
Coolant should be changed completely every two years anyway.

Good idea.
Sometimes the rad fan switches do spring leaks.

ha a good look today, coming from the bottom right hand corner, will need to take the radiator out to see properly so will just replace in a couple of weeks as it looks rusty anway.
m o t is due in a couple of weeks so that will decide on what i am going to do,

There are two thicknesses of radiator fitted to a T25.
Choose the one fitted to Diesels and the larger DJ engine.
It fits ok.
