I have a 1983 T25 is there anyway I can improve the braking system? i.e. fit larger callibers?

The standard braking system in good working order is quite capable of locking all four wheels, then answer is no as by then it is all over as far as the brakes go.
If you mean can I lock all four wheels without having to press the brake pedal hard, then fit a larger servo.

Good condition parts are key. As Big Herb says, stock brakes work very well in good fettle. To stop such a heavy vehicle any faster just results in loss of grip for tyres anyway, which introduces a whole load of new factors.
