Undersealing Question

Morning

I recently had my van under-sealed. All looks great BUT the rear trailing arms weren't under-sealed. They were left as is...

Would there be a reason for this? I can't think of any and they are getting a bit surface rusting so I thought I'd clean them up with a wire brush and paint them with black hammerite... :D

Will my van explode if I do this :rofl

Go for the latter. Far better solution. You might like to treat surface rust with Vactan first.

Cheers.

Also the pinch seams (I think that's what they are are also (whilst in pretty remarkable nick for a 35 year old van) showing some signs of surface rust. The same approach should be OK for these too I guess?

I appreciate these are possibly daft questions but this isn't something I want to balls up or cause a worse problem down the line!

:ok

Yep, give them a good clean up first.
