ecotek valve

has any body fitted a ecotek valve to their 1.9l water cooled petrol engine. does it increase the mpg and throttle response. how easy it is to fit.

All it does is leak air into the servo pipe.
So, it does 2 things
reduce the amount of vacuum your brake servo sees (bad)
emits air into the manifold (bad)
Another gimmick, it will reduce emissions as it's leaning off the mixture, but lean mixtures run hot so you run the risk of burning valves etc..
Save your money.
