I'm replacing the manual valve that allows water to flow though heater matrix for a 12v solenoid-powered one. Can anyone verify the internal diameter of the hose where the manual valve is located or measure an old valve for reference? Is it 5/8" or equivalent in metric?

I know that I used 15mm copper pipe to seal up the rear heater hose temporarily under the rear seat. So 5/8 sounds right to me.

15mm = 0.590"
5/8" or 0.625" = 15.88mm
Which is it?
