Hi I have a T25 high top and for the past few years my 6 year old kid has slept in the roof fine but now we have decided to put our 3 year old up there as well but were concerned because she still wakes in the night and we have nothing attached to the front of the bed to stop her falling out has any one got any pictures or ideas on what they have used to stop them falling out with out blocking all the light and leave room to access the. Area

I'm sure folks will post up their ideas.
But have you considered a cab bunk?
They tend to be hammock like and hold the restless types.

Yes I've thought about putting a bunk in the front but she should sleep better with her brother in the roof and its all foamed out ready so we might as well get her use to being up there

I am currently looking at exactly the same issue... in my case I am planning on fitting 4 d ring lugs or eye bolts in each corner the opening and using some cargo net & small caribiner clips to net the little monkey in.... as a bonus when travelling with all the bedding up there the cargo net will keep it in place
would be simple enough if i hadn't read somewhere on here of someone using a cargo net as a scramble net so that the nipper can get up and down on their own once big enough not to fall out so now im wrestling with which fixings to use on the bed board base to resist the lateral load of a 7year old hanging (probably swinging lets be honest) on a cargo net. These look like they would do the trick

A bit expensive but maybe an option:

Hi yes D rings would be good in my case there is nothing around the top of the roof to attach them to as there is only the veltrim and fibreglass roof is yours the same or do you have some kind of frame around the top of the opening

I have fitted two thin cupboards down either side of the high top so can attach to the top front corners of these - but if you have no way of getting a top fixing its going to be difficult. with some strong fixings on the sides "under" the opening you could I suppose fit a cargo net to catch any wayward offspring before they hit the deck...

Thanks for idea thinking about it now I suppose I could fix the bottom of the net to the slide out section of bed and then I have a full length high roof with a cupboard at the front section so I could possibly fix the top hooks to the cupboard facia and angle the cargo to the front on an angle going up to prevent them having a surprise exit

we used this.
I had to fix a metal locating hole for the throw bolt.
But on further thinking I should have drilled through the bed and used a fixing bolt to secure it to the bed board

Thanks id have to run that design past the wife to see if she thinks its high enough is that long enough to double as a ladder if I used strong enough brackets to make it removable

We bought one of the telescopic ladders from Maplins.
Used to get up into the bed and then laid flat from side to side as long as it will extend in the space, this then filled the gap.
