I have a 1.7 Diesel Engine T3 I am thinking buying a late 90's 1.9 seat car with a long MOT the idea is that once it fails the MOT I will assuming it'll fit, fit the 1.9 turbo engine into my 1.7 engine t3 can it be done?

Anything can be done with the right skills, tools and determination. There are many TDI install threads here and other forums. I'm finishing an m-tdi install at the moment.
