Has anyone ever used that paint protection film?

Do you mean just the odd strip here and there (wheel arches, usually), or an all-over wrap?

I was wondering if the complete lower front of mine could be done to stop stone chips, but it would probably have been as cheap to get it resprayed as cover it with good quality film.
