Westfalia campers without fridges, stoves etc?

There's a Westy on eBay, that doesn't has a full camping interior. It has the rear storage, a rock and roll bed, pop top with bed and a fold out table. It looks to be a factory interior though as the side panels are moulded plastic.
I know that modern westy's have a version without the full camping interior, but am not sure if they did back then. So what model is it, or is it some sort of converted caravelle?
(I know nothing about these things clearly, but am interested in getting a t25)
Thanks for your help.

Sounds like what is known as a multi-van interior. Has all that you describe, but no cooker/fridge/sink. Some people prefer them - certainly a lot roomier.
If you posted a link to it, we could all have a look and tell you more. I did have a brief search on ebay, but can't be sure which one you mean. Just copy the link into this thread.

Is it this one? If so, yes, it's a multi-van interior. Factory fitted. Looks okay - did you particularly want an automatic?

I'd be inclined to agree with the previous poster, one things for sure, it isn't a California. The early (small button) tail gate means that it is an older van than a California (which came out in 88) non rear wash wipe, all the window rubbers being solid (California had chrome inserts all round) whilst these could have been changed it would be unusual for all of them to be black. The colour of course (California only came in Masala Red and white) so there would be some remnant of either of these colours still remaining internally.
The headlining would suggest a high spec multivan, but obviously you are missing lots of camper additions when compared to a Cali i.e. Full kitchen/fridge/cooker/clean & waste water/leisure battery and charging/hookup and associated 230v electrics.
However, this has had the side planks and big mirrors added...which is a bonus.
Auto's, whilst reasonably reliable, only go further towards highlighting these 'underpowered' vans..wouldn't be my choice.

Thanks for the info folks. Not particularly looking for an auto or a left hooker to be honest, although I realise there's no option on the latter if I was to go with a Westy. I was intrigued by the lack of camping gear on the blue one so wanted to understand a bit more about what it was.
To be honest, I probably fancy a manual late Autosleeper trooper the most currently. They seem to have a practical interior and wouldn't take too much effort to improve the looks of (remove decals, lower, rims, paint the big bumpers and swap out the chintz inside).
Just need to find a decent one at a sensible price.

My mate Steve had a Trooper, they have the best roof by far and loads of space although I do agree with you on the typical 80's British chintz velour trim.
