F35 pro vs F45s

Has anyone owned both? The F35 pro is 2.5M and the F45s says its 2.6M.. Im wondering if the actual canvas is the same size? i have fixings fitted to the side of my van to take the feet of the awning and would like to re use them if i 'upgrade' to the F45s.
Anyone have any info on that?

The legs on the awning should be able to give 5cm flex on either side so would shave thought you could use same fittings. That's what I did after I put awning on roof racks and they didn't like up exactly. Had no issues with them so far.

sounds good.. just measured my feet bracket/fixings and they are 240cm apart, and have found some info on the fiamma website that states the actual awning is only 247cm. So it does look possible..

IMO a 3m is best :D
covers slider open and closed in case of rain.

I guess 3m is no use if you need side fixings.

Hiya mate....I'm just in the process of going from a 2.6 to a 3.0metre F45S and have to agree that after 5 odd years of owning the smaller 2.6metre size the only thing I can say negative about owning that size in poor coverage of the sliding door.
The 2.6 winds out 2.0 metres...the 3.0 version winds out 2.5metres...this all adds up to nearly 50% extra area overall, 7.3m2 compared to 4.9m2 of the smaller awning.

The other question/answer is why (if you choose the 3.0m size) can't the legs go inwards, after all, they already attach at 45 degrees, sloping in 50cm when the legs are extended wouldn't be particularly drastic would it?

My guess is you would need to rotate this bracket too on the van

My maths is crap but a straight leg of more that 3.5 metres coming off a 3 metre wide front section back to the van mounts (2.6 metres apart) each leg angled to compensate for just 20 centimetres...that's going to be a very shallow angle, surely not enough to need the mounts moving.....
