What are the different applications for 'slow' and 'fast' panel wipe? I'm about to order some upol but thought I'd wait for an answer. Thanks.

And you can buy water-base or solvent base too. While I like the water base in that it's very effective, and doesn't stink I've found it quite aggressive and it once softened some primer! So of defeats the object. It was old celly primer though so maybe that's why

Thanks for that. Any recommendations? I was going to get the upol fast but if you know of anything equally suitable, please feel free to comment.
In addition to this, as its my thread, I ought to be alright going of on a different subject.......if I prime my van in epoxy primer, how long before I can rub down and apply a coat of high build filler primer? Thanks. Mitch.

If you do it before the epoxy fully cures, you don't have to rub it down at all. it chemically bonds to the primer.
With some epoxies, that means within 7 days. Depends on how long it takes for a full cure.

For solvent, I used 3m but there are much cheaper brands out there. The water based one is produced by Max Meyer. Both sold on ebay and suchlike.
I can't say on epoxy primers, never used the stuff , I've only used 2 pack products.
Cheers, Doug.
