quick report of my first ride copied from maxi muppet forum
I love it,,,,I've never test riden one so it was all a big learning curve for me
I drove it home from the shop [about half a mile] and parked it up outside my home
I stood and looked and looked,,,it does look like a worthog from the front.
I needed to get a good lock for it so a dam good excuse to take it out for a test ride
SORRY all you type 2 wheelers out there,,but this thing is amazing
within 5 minutes I was weaving in and out of traffic like I've ridden one of these for years
its just so "feck" easy to ride and that button to stop it leaning at the lights is just so much fun, its unreal.
Maybe it me but it just seams to ride over humps [there's a lot where I live] like nothing else I've ridden and it just so easy to take corners even when the roads are wet. I wouldn't go around corners on a 2 wheeled bike like I did tonight. The bike just makes you feel so steady its almost like sitting in an armchair. The looks you get from people and other bikers is embarrassing at times, I heard on several occasions young kids shouting to their mates 'look there's one of those MP3's" I parked up outside the shop and a guy stopped and asked me if it was hard to steer....nope,, piece of pi$$ I told him...and it is, dead easy to steer.
I don't think I would bother to get any other type of scooter,, its 3 wheels for me from now on.
I cant wait till tomorrow after I' finished work to get out on it, I have to be on duty till 5 pm....by 5.15 I'll be gone wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee off down the M4 just to try it out, all in the name of science you understand.

better braking and no "lowsides" .. ie it makes it very hard to wash the front end out on the brakes leant over/in the wet etc... big safety advantage..
Cant see Yam/Suz/Kwak fitting a similar system to there flagship sports bikes...
But ELF might do summat silly and try and put one in GP's... they were good at that!!!!

Hi Gang,

Well i finished work at about 11ish today,got my biking clobber on and set off for my 3.5 mile epic journey to JT's,he greeted me at the entrance of the showroom and gave me the keys for the MP3 to save me getting my gear off,after a quick guide to the controls i set off.

The flicking of the switch to lock the front wheels is easy enough,but one can not get out of the habit of sticking a foot down for a while,it is also a confidence thing as well and i did keep my feet up at road junctions/traffic lights after a while.Pulling away is fun with ones feet up while stationary and just twist the throttle

Being a local lad i know the area and took some lanes that i would normanlly avoid on the x9 and the Harley,the lanes were still very damp despite the dry conditions on the main roads,the center of the lanes were grit and leaf ridden,one would usually keep in the clear tracks either side.I was right in the middle and felt the rear wheel slide on the crud,a normal two wheeler would of been in the hedge,the MP3 handled great.

I took a roundabout as fast as my confidence would allow(remembering the MP3 aint mine to bend )it felt good and the twin front wheel set up made the machine stick like glue,i could really feel the wheels grip.
I did not stay out long as i was worried in case anyone else had turned up for a test ride,i think i'll ask for another go during a week day,so i can spend a little longer out on it

I stayed away from the motorways as speed was not my worry,it was the handling i was after checking out and indeed i was impressed.The dash is nicely set out

this is the same principle as the old 3 wheeler Morgans, the JZR based on a CX500 and the awsome beast based on a BMW.

Had a drive of an ethanol burning beetle backed Morgan and whilst there was faster stuff on the straight, nothing got near it on the twisty bits.

Great fun.
