Hi,

Bit cheeky but 2 questions really 1st I need to know how to remove my hi-top roof so I can repair the rotten guttering and hole above the rear window (also does anyone know if you can get a repair panel for that) it has a Sheldon Hi-top roof on it if that helps ?

Thanks,

Steve.

Mines a Sheldon and it looks to be glued on so I suppose it would be a case of scraping the glue away and slowly trying to detach the roof. Where is the hole? Roof or metal? If the hole is in the roof I believe it is possible to repair using glass fibre. As always a picture or 2 would help. Jon.

Hi All,

Got it off using Cheese wire and a flexible saw blade.

Still hard work but quicker that scrapping it out.

I'm thinking I will have to do the same to repair guttering as well - (although I'm going to cheat and someone else is doing the repairs) - just out of interest, what is the rest of the roof like now it's uncovered? Has that suffered significant rust? have you considered doing anything else now you have the roof off? (Going for a pop top?) In theory, if you had a roof cut, could you go back to a tin top!?
