Mystery water ingress

I know it's sometimes difficult to find the source of a water leak, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?

I have water along the rear floor just where the rear lap straps are mounted. There's a bit of water along the front of the engine lid too. I noticed it because the lap straps are wicking up the water and are pretty much saturated where they come throgh the rear seat cushions. The bottom of the fitted cupboard next to the belt anchor seems to be damp too.

I have only noticed this since having the van resprayed. (Could be coincidence).

I was wondering if it might be to do with the rear vents. We know that water drips inside the vents when stood in rain. Presumably there's a drain hole at the bottom of the vent. I am speculating that these may have been filled in error when the respray was done. - or a bit heavy handed with the waxoil maybe? Do you think this might be the problem? I think I will have the vent covers off tomorrow to investigate.

if you mean the holes in the bottom with a X pressed in them ? then this will have no effect on water ingress in the van, can you post a picky of the area as it may help, also got any picks of the work before or during ?
also possibly the side window seals ??

The interior wasn't removed when the van was re-sprayed, but the vent ducts were painted when the covers were off.

Here are some pics of the side windows during respraying work.

hmmm well it looks to be traveling along that top edge soaking the belt mount areas, strange, i note your runner backing is shot with holes, this area is a double skin but only intermittently , but the rear (inside the van )will probably be rotten as well , have you had the card off ?as the way its constructed means that water that gets past either the window seal or runs in past the slider cover seal will run down here and the actual runner is only spot welded to the backing with an additional tack at front middle and rear to stop rotation, so easy for water to get into there and through to the inside i know yours has been filled but its an area to inspect so also pop the card to see behind yours , why didnt you fit a new panel rather than fill it ?

More exploration required methinks.
Thanks for your thoughts on this, MM. Most helpful.
I will take the card off and have a dekko.
