Water drivers on side

Vans been getting water front drivers side from about the seat belt mount back to the end of battery box.
I have replaced the winder scrapers recently and taken door card off to see if that would reveal the source (not helped).
It's wet under the rubber and the foam has perished also has ruined the bottom right corner of the door card.
Any ideas where it could be coming from or how to trace it?

If you get out of the ,and grab the seat belt near its mounting ,on top of wheel arch and attempt to pull it out of the van ,then lift up the rubber matting and check for cracks and rust etc ,water also has a habit of travveling via capillary action which hinders finding the source. Have some one hose it with you sat inside or fund a body shop with an ultrasonic leak detector ,most have them

is the plastic waterproof membrane stuck to the inside of the door properly beneath the door card??

If this is split/damaged/missing then water will get in, despite you having replaced the window scrapers, as these aren't meant to be water tight

I took the door card off and headed to the jet wash to investigate.
I think some water was getting through membrane. And the glue had failed on the floor rubber so it could work its way underneath.
Going to let dry out and treat the couple of bits of surface rust, out of interest what glue is good to stick the rubber back down?

Ive got a leak thats been present for some time, not causing any metal damage ive found, but it has damaged the door card some. Ive had the cards off, and the membrane is good and sealed all around. Is it the main cab door seal?? it looks fine to me.. bloody water.

Look at personal habits as well. Spilt beer, any history of incontinence in the family.

Here's a pic of the top of the door looking down, I had the seal tucked under the metal like on the right... I've just un tucked it so it's like on the left. So will see what happens. So which is it meant to be? :D

Hmm hasn't seemed to change a thing. I've got all new scrapers and seals for front windows as they were in poor shape. Will fit them as soon as it's a weekend, daylight, not raining, I'm here, it's a blue moon.

Is the door in good shape, not bent or owt?
Is the door well ok
Has the door seal been compromised.
To track a leak, talcum powder can be used once the area is cleaned.
Sprinkle it in the suspect areas.

Keep trying you'll nail it

new window seals fitted, old ones were quite bad indeed. few years ago id swapped the 'outside to opposite insides' to get a bit more life out of them, but still, good to finally sort it properly. ill try the talc technique next then kev :)
