Newbe on here and this has probably been asked before but-

Has anybody fitted a bongo rear seat and rails in the back of their T3.
I've seen them fitted into T4's but can't find any in a T3.

Are they too wide or something?

I was thinking -
just in front of the hump for normal driving,
then slide it forward a bit, lay it down, cushion over the engine for a bed.
A bit like a rock and roll setup (but not). If you know what I mean?
Must be something, or I would of thought more people would use them.
Again, I can't seem to find much info on it?

I’ve asked on Brick-Yard too, but haven’t had many responses.

Seems to be a lot of faff to make it work when you can make your own R&R bed designed for the T25 with various plans in the wiki.

As for the Bingo seats I can't recall anyone ever fitting them.

Scudbuggy, I did what you suggest with the rear seat from a chrysler voyager as I wanted something robust for belted passengers in the rear. I'm happy enough with the outcome, slide seat forward on slider built into the seat which is bolted into the chassis rail, fold down and pull a board with cushion over it. Less slick than a r+r but a tad safer I would guess
