going to fit a new drive plate to my 1987 watercooled 1.9 DG auto engine any hints or tips please

Drive plate as I understand it is this bit on the left, it is essentiall the same as the flywheel from the engines point of view and so affects the endfloat of the engine, that will need to be measured and corrected with shims.

what parts need to be replaced i have a new o-ring what about the oil seal.

yes new oil seal highly reccomended.
Did I mention end float :D

drive plate on van was ok but some damage on a couple of teeth on torque converter.any ideas where i can source one
