Not had any bodywork done but I've spoken to Rich when I was looking for a van and he was an extremely helpful chap.

Sean384 on here had his van done there a while back and recommended them to me, felt they offered a good service and were upfront about costs etc.

I've had them do a couple of jobs for me when I was working up near Newbury. They seem to be well run and organised, but felt they were a little on the dear side. Speaking to them, they have pitched themselves towards the top-end of the market, but if they are going to do this, they need to be spot-on.

I had to take issue with the bill they raised on fitting a set of lowered springs/dampers/lots of bushes, and they agreed to reduce it, but I would get clear a clear understanding from them before they start work (I think they are happy to do this). I normally buy my parts from Brickwerks, and I always ask how many hours they would charge to fit, and use this as a reference. The other issue I had was they blagged me a bit; on collecting my van, I also grabbed the box of old parts they removed and found the brand new set of steering rack bushes sitting at the bottom, obviously not fitted (but charged for). On asking why they were not fitted, the explanation was that they were the wrong ones - but its turns out there is only one type of these bushes, and I subsequently fitted them without problems. Mistakes happen, but I would rather not be bluffed.

I would use them again, depending on their quote. Luckily I live on the South Coast and use Doug's VW Werks - and they now have Dan, who now leads on their body work is excellent.
