Hi,

Got a snapped rear h'brake cable, been looking for a replacement in GSF and Just Kampers.

GSF a bit cheaper b a few quid. Has anyone replaced these cables, is there any difference in quality between GSF and JKampers ?

Doing it once will be bad enough without having to do it again any sooner than I have to !

btw. Would it be a hard job for someone not too mechanical ?!

Cheers

petrol tank out on a 2WD can raise its own issues. Quick fix is to weld a tube over the broken ends to join them. I fitted a GSF one once petrol tank is out of the way its not to bad.

Er rear cables are not a tank out job!!!

if you are not very mechanically minded then DO NOT mess with a safety item like brakes... you will have to remove the rear drums and whiel in there a good clean and check is advisable.. if anything needs replacing then you have openend a tin of worms...

if you are still happy to procede, then use the haynes manual.. support the rear on axle stands and take you time...
