HELP with fitting Merc ML wheels to a T25

I want to fit 225/75/R16 mercedes ML wheels to a T25 - I realise the tyres will make my speedometer under read (225/75/R16 = 77mph but 225/60/R16 will give correct speed).
The wheels are:
Diameter / PCD / Offset / Bore = 16" / 5x112 / 62 / 66.5
The offset of 62mm suggests I need to fit 30 mm adaptors - Can anyone confirm and will this give me a problem with the sliding door clearance?
Thanks for your help!

Not sure about the clearance issue but I know with 20mm spacers the ML rims go on OK.
You'll need longer studs and bolts too. Ask Fireturk on here about the kit you need.
By correcting the tyre profile your speedo reading should be about right.

I used 10mm spacers all round with my ML's with 215/60 Pirrelli P6 van tyres . long studs from Brickwerks...fantastic
and made the center caps from the wiki
E D I T ...I think oriigonaly the speedo was based on a 185/82 x 14C tyre

WHat ET are the other guys wheels? this can have a huge impact and there may be a few different ET's in the ML range..
20mm+ is a bit too much IMHO for spacers and longer studs.. "adapters" ought to be used..
Early and late vans have a different amount of clearance too..

Thats my thought.
Most people I hear fitting Merc rims get away with a 10mm spacer, but I guess there are some ML wheels with a lesser offset, hence the need for a 20mm spacer.
So if you are buying be careful to check this first.

After some rooting round the net I have come up with a list of ML rims, tyre specs and offsets.
Thought this might be worth adding to the info on the site as a sticky/on the Wiki pages perhaps?

Well an 8" rim will need adapters to get it out far enough... its too big I think!!! at least for the front...

I have 225/75 R16 Tegman ML wheels on my 90' van.
I used 20mm spacers & longer bolts on the front & 12mm spacers & studs on the rears.
2 other things to watch out for:
1. If you use those generic slotted spacers, make sure they are fitted centrally by either dowling them, gluing them or whatever before fitting the wheel as it will cause a runout/imbalance (not much fun on the motorway).
2. If you're thinking of fitting remould tyres, be warned 225/75 R16 AT tyres are larger in diameter than standard 225/75 R16 road tyres & they clash on the bodywork as I found out!
