Poor idle and loss of power

My bus suddenly lost power and wouldn't idle. It is ok when cold but gets worse as it warms up.

We have changed the checked for air leaks, Air Flow Sensor, checked the wiring, Cleaned the tank and changed the fuel filter, changed the water temp sensor, sent the ECU away for test. The ECU is ok.

I am at a loss to what else can be done.

Mine is a 2.1 digifant. The water temp sensor is black. Is this right?

Would the lambda sensor have any effect?

The lambda sensor stopped mine from ticking over. If you simply disconnect it and it is ok then there's your problem!

Apparently it isn't a DJ it's an MV.

I'll try the Lambda sensor.

The T2 sensor has been changed but it was black so a black was used to replace it. I am beginning to think that it should be blue. Is this correct?

Usually black for temp gauge sender, blue for temp2 sensor.

:ok
The bus is fixed.

Jason at Interpro, Thorbury North West of Bristol sorted it. He sorted lots of wiring and earth issues, Did the plugs/dizzy cap/power steering idle control sensor but the main thing seems to have been the idle control sensor and its wiring. The Lambda sensor has been removed previously because the s/s exhaust has been fitted without a cat. I may replace this when the next exhaust is needed. But it is running well now.
