Stuck CV bolts - what size of nut buster do I need?

As per the title,
My CV bolts are stuck fast and I can't get them to move at all. I saw someone suggest the Irwin 'nutbusters' as a good way to fix this.
What size will I need? (different kits have different sizes in them).

kits cover the lot. Are these inner or outer CV joints? If inner, just use a cold chisel and hammer to knock them round. Never failed for me. If outer, sometimes the only solution is to undo hub nut and pull shaft and stub axle back through rear of wheel then sort on the bench.

Try hammering a 12 mill socket on the bolt/s,has worked for me and my daughter loads of times.

Cheers Covkid & Dave, it's the inner bolts that are stuck. I've not gone properly medieval on them yet, but I do have said hammer and cold chisel and a 12 mm socekt, so I'll give these approaches go.
I've got my engine out now so at least access is a bit easier...

dont mess about with gearboc end, slitting disc on the angle grinder and chop the heads off, then the will unwind with your fingers once the pressure is off....

Good sharp cold chisel should get a bite on the bolt/s no prob. You only have to tap it hard a few times to get a nick in the bolt and tap anticlockwise until it works loose. I forget how long I've been in this business but its still my preferred route. You could use an angle grinder but deffo wear eye protection. An angle grinder in a confined space should be respected. Irwins also good but better to save those for something more challenging than a CV bolt.
