Intelligent charger

Hi
I want to fit a clever charger that will allow me to charge the leisure battery on hookup AND let me use it. My lights and stereo run of the leisure battery. Is it right that I need one with a "float" function? If so would a CTEK MXS 5.0 do the job?
Thanks in advance

Most modern leisure battery chargers are SMART and can be left permanently connected.
The Ctek MXS 5 is a fine charger but only 5 amps, which is OK to recover and charge a battery, but to charge whilst using? ...5 amps might not be enough! there may be more discharge (amps going out) than charge (5amps) going in.
The CTEK is actually expensive and I would go for a proper leisure charger like this :

i have a draper intelligent 12Amp charger hard wired on mine, which can be manually switched to either battery ( leisure or main)
but i also have a 30amp switch mode power 12v supply ( again hard wired) that switches out the leisure battery(via a 5pin auto relay) and runs everything 12v when im hooked up, so the batteries are only being charged with nothing being taken out
