Sump plug

Now it's sump plug problem time.
The 6mm allen is just a bit slack and I don't have a 6.5mm to hammer in there, is there an alternative that anyone knows about?
Loathe to hack it about just now, annual test coming up on Monday.....
The oil has only done 2000 miles since last changed so it should be OK for another few days until I can get another sump plug delivered (just in case)

You could take the filler tube off (2 x13 ml nuts).. Or the turbo drain pipe off at the sump.

Think the turbo drain would be the best bet then, I had that off at last oil change to make sure it was clear, I can do the same again this time!
I'll just have to reposition the van to make the best of the slope outside.
Cheers for that Barry.

Definitely a Homer Simpson 'DOH!' moment.
I was so fixated on that sump plug on the rear of the sump that I failed to noitce there was one up front!
That came undone nice and easy so oil change went ahead.
Did the filling up of the filter bit, only about 3/4 so I didn't spill any when installing it.
Prior to that I had carefully emptied 1/2 litre of fresh oil out of the can so I knew I would only put in the required 4-1/2 litres.
Took the fuel solenoid lead off and turned it over for about 20 seconds, get the filter completely full, lead back on, started up and let run up to temperature.
Checked underneath, no leaks, checked oil cooler assembly, no apparent leaks, so I would say good to go for the ITV tomorrow afternoon.
So I now have a miniature Homer stuck on the dash!
Happy days.

After a quick discussion with Brickwerks it would appear that I have a Syncro sump! Who would have thought that!
Not that I want to change it or anything........
Can I be certain it is though? It has the two outlets forward and rear that are opened with a 6mm Allen key, look more like bung plugs as described on the brickwerks webshop rather than a 'typical' sump plug with a hex head and no I don't have the screw out valve type thing.
