windscreen wiper tip

Hi
Just a little tip in case it helps.
During New Years trip to Dorset in the P*ss*ng rain , one of the wipers started flapping about with a life of it's own.
Easily rectified by taking of the plastic cover over the spindle and gently tightening the nut.
Easily rectified in the pouring rain on the hard shoulder with the tool kit buried in the rear storage tray beneath the Dalmation................ Get the picture ?
Maybe worth checking before you go .
