Air temp sensor

Hi. Can anyone tell me if I can use a redundant air sensor that is currently in my inlet manifold and not being used. The number is 046906081. The broken one is part number 028906081. They look very different. I will be able to get the correct one when I reach bangkok in 800km but until then?....
