Fuel filter and pump recommendations 2.1i petrol

I have a strong smell of petrol coming the passenger side wheel arch, just where the fuel expansion tank is. The other issue is that its cutting out when idle or revs are low. Kev gave me some suggestions in my other thread. Im going to change the fuel filter and possibly the fuel pump. I bought a fuel filter from GSF a few months back and am now wondering whether its the right one? It has Purflux EP90C written on it. I can no longer find it on GSF website and often when I've been there they've given me the wrong thing. So now Im thinking Brickwerks is the way forward and I like them :)
Any ideas which one I should be getting? Also which fuel pump for a fuel injected? Im receiving help fitting them.
Thanks all

Purflux EP90C does seem to be the right thing, and although are not that well known Purflux are an OEM of filters for a lot of European car manufacturers.

As long as you stick with Mann, Mahle/Knecht, Purflux, Hengst or UFI for filters quality is good.

If you can smell petrol chances are you have sprung a leak somewhere, so most common things are going to be a corroded tank, corroded fuel filter, or hoses breaking down, so have a good look under there and try and find where its coming from.

Thanks Enzo79 - am going to try and get the van raised on a driveway at some point. Just had a petrol leak fixed a month back! Since then, it seems to now be coming from another area. Worried about interfering with the lines coming from the expansion tanks..which is where it smells like its coming from.. just in case I can't get it back together again?!
