I asked the same question about 12mths ago,one reply said "khyam motorhome classic, thank me latter" I have still to thank that member, its a fantastic bit of kit, can't praise it enough.

Mine fits on a 1989 Autosleeper using a figure of eight channel fixed to the van roof,if you're anywhere near Halifax you're welcome to look at ours.

I've got an Outwell Country Road awning which is good, its well designed, roomy with lots of headroom. Easier to pitch if there's two of you and the sleeping compartment is extra but its a nice piece of kit.

We have an outdoor revolution model, these are cheap but ok used one on the welsh coast in high winds ok, beware of any straps rubbing your bodywork though. Outwell tents are top of the range so i would imagine their awnings are good too, cheers john.

As already said the khyam. We have tried a few awnings over the years and then bought a kyham and we think that it is the best off all. It's very quick and easy to put up and we have had no probs with it in strong winds

I have a sapera too. Excellent if you want ease of erection and dismantling. That's why I chose it above all the others.
And you can't bend or snap the poles.

The best awning by far is the Khyam motordome. I have had two of these one for a van and the other for my Syncro (needed the bigger one with a bit more height) effortless to erect compared to others and offer great space. You can also buy added rooms if you need it to be bigger.
We need quick erect and dismantle due to the fact that we rarely stop for more than one night.
It is the best dos not look anywhere else. you will only be disappointed.
