Hi
Bought a German bike rack for the rear door, its great.
Only problem is the door won't stay up now with the rack on it, never tried it with bikes as well.
The Dalmation can't get out without clambering into the drivers seat first now.
Any ideas ?

Buy a new set of struts...someone was selling them on here for a very reasonable price (less than £30?and very strong)...can't recall who though.

Yes it was Jokerdub, you have to watch the tailgate doesn't take your head off!

Got the Ebay ones recently (the £27 with freepost I think), VERY strong struts. Will wack you under the chin if you don`t watch. I would think they will hold up a bike rack no probs

Very slightly longer as well, so the flap is well above the heads of most NORMAL people
