Bored of websites and I needed to document the Syncro build so I am having a crack at this Blog malarkey.

Its probably going to end up like a mini-mirror of this forum with me rambling on about engines and tyres etc but I plan to give it a go.

Have a look (and post a comment if you like) at my first few posts.

Got some pictures up now and a few words.

Bit of a quandary over wheel choice going on.

Could you guys have a look and maybe post a comment saying which you would go for?

Fantastic work, it's so nice to see some life put into old syncro's. What could be more satisfying.
Simon. :D

Super..
I need to do just that to my floor.. VW for the panels I suppose?
but I reckon I might need a little extra remedial to a couple of the suport sections...

No, panels came from Lars Neuffer @ Tristar Connection (Germany)

Lovely, looks like you're doing it 'properly' - going to be a cracking truck...

I'm also planning a resto on a syncro doka, (panels ordered). It's basically a seam rust problem with some more advanced rust on the rear side panels. The load bed in this one is fine, (checker plate covered) but will need to be removed for access to the side panels? Would be interested to know any problems you came across. What seam sealant are you using?

Keep up the good work - it'll all be worth it in the end!!

Cheers
Brian
