Thinking of having the awning that's for sale in classifieds from el_presidente although he has informed me that I need fittings so secure this to my guttering ..see pic
Anybody know what I need for this? any links or info much appreciated

there is a bead that runs the length of the awning which feeds into a fitting referred to as Awning Channel

If you google "Awning Channel" you will find various options that you cna buy and fix permanently eg http://www.amazon.co.uk/Section-Awning- ... B0037DHW9Y This is the set up I have currently on my vehicle.

If you'd rather not attach anything, you can apparently use Figure of 8 channel which attaches to your gutter - see here; http://www.a2zcamping.co.uk/multi-purpo ... nnel-.html but I haven't tested this.

The first one looks right. I will check the size tonight

I don't think you need the second one - I am not sure what that is for

So if anyone has fitted a Fiamma Carvanculture Awning using the Figure 8 Channel please let me know .Or any other awning!
I would prefer this method as opposed to drilling and cutting at my van..
