Hi all,

Does anyone know of where I could purchase a stainless exhaust for a 1.9 diesel 1Y converted t25. I think its about time I get rid of the bodged mess hiding under there..

I have had a look on google and nothing is really popping up, so im guessing that it is a custom job? If so, anyone know of and good value fabricators that would be willing to post to Stroud/Bristol area?

I made mine from a few bends off ebay, same shape as the old CS one.

That looks very nice, did you make the back box also?

I've not had any experience welding stainless so not sure id trust myself at the moment, definitely worth thinking about though! certainly cheaper!

Had the box made -£65. 2 points with the box though, it is louder than it needs to be and the end plate needed to be stronger (it cracked) to support the tailpipe without extra support.

check out a few chav mags at the newsagent as most have adverts for stainless exhaust builders in them, probably some local to you as well

hardest bit to get in stainless is usually the manifold flange



i made mine with magnaflow parts

It took me ages to cut through 10mm stainless for the pipe to fit. That was the worst bit doing it myself. Slow, plenty of oil and titanium tipped tank cutter bit.

I will keep my eye out! cheers for the ideas chaps
