As the title suggests. How much drop can i achieve from letting air out of tyres. Standard steelies/tyres fitted.

60mm? more?

probably, sidewall is 80 profile, 80% of 185mm is 148mm so 60mm is reasonable, go too far and the tyre could get damaged, I would not leave deflated long.

I seem to remember someone else having the same problem on here, not so long ago. He received all sorts of suggestions, including letting the tyres down, fitting different wheels, running on bare rims, raising the door height, and excavating the floor. No idea what he ended up doing though....

I use a set of standard steels with no tyres on to get in my garage.
