Any one got any ideas before I start pulling bits off?
There is a Puddle of oil here
Here, for perspective
It seems to be running down the block and pooling on the floor here

clean it up and check the oil switch, they do tend to leak out of the end

Is it a bad idea to use a Vax steam cleaner on the engine ?

As Lloyd said check the oil pressure switch on top of the filter, I had the same symptom’s on mine, changed the switch and no more issues.
clean the oil up, then use an engine cleaner like gunk, spray on leave it then use an old tooth brush to clean all the awkward bits, i used an old electric one perfect.

Worth checking that the oil cooler is tight enough. Although it is sandwiched between the oil filter and the block they are held on by a nut which goes on before the oil filter. Mine had worked loose and was causing a leak.
