Rustoleum drying time

Hi all. I have done some remedial preservation work on my foot steps. They weren't bad, just starting to rust around the rubber mat mounting holes. I did the usual, a good clean up above and below then Vactan, then L90D Rustoleum. However, I find Rustoleum takes a day or more to cure hard, so when I shut the doors at the end of the day. the door rubber stuck somewhat to the still slightly soft paint

Is there a way (short of having a drive in paint oven) to get it to cure faster?
Perhaps thin it with celly thinners?
Any thoughts folks?

You can get terebine driers in some hardware or paint shops. It's a purple colour liquid - you mix a small amount with the paint and its supposed to dry faster.
Apart from that, it just takes time - the paint continues to shrink noticeably for about 2 weeks.
