JX Turbo Connecting Pipe?

The turbo connecting pipe cracked (the solid 1.6JX plastic type) on my 1.9 AAZ and has destroyed the turbo. Getting the turbo rebuilt OK, but can't find a new air intake pipe for the turbo anywhere (Volks Magic are searching for me atm). Was it the 1.9 over pressuring the solid plastic pipe and caused it to impload? Or was it just the fact that a single cab syncro pickup that gets battered over rough terrain all the time that did it? Any help and advice much appreciated...

Original Part number is "068 129 630 D" - connecting pipe

It needs the breather from rocker cover connection and that's all that's special about it from what I can see:-

So my question is, does anyone have any ideas for a more robust solution, e.g. steel fabricated pipe with breather connection, or maybe has an old one lying around I could use to get me back on the road?

Cheers,
Darren

Brickwerks have a aftermarket solution made out of silicone, not sure if they are selling it yet or if its still a prototype. Might be worth dropping them a email?

if you can't wait, these still sell what looks like the genuine ones

may even have luck at vw?
