Hi Chaps
I have a 2.1 Crew Cab, i used it this weekend to drive to Wales, all was fine on the way down no issues whatsoever. On the way back i got stuck in three different traffic jams(lucky me). After crawling along at no more than 10mph maximum the van started to get very lumpy, a few times it cut out and did not want to re-start without me pumping the accelerator pedal like a mad man. There was no indication on the temp gauge it was a little over the half way mark, my coolant level light stayed off as the tank was full. The fan cuts in as it should do, anyone anyone have any ideas as to whats going on with it please

cheers

Andrew :)

check that the temp2 sensor is working correctly and the earths and electrical connections are all good....temp2 sensor tells the ecu the engine temp and it then controls the fuel mixture.......but poor electrical connections anywhere in the engine bay can result in weird engine performance........don't start buying stuff until you know it is kaput
