Interior fan only working on speed 1

Hi,
The interior / front screen demist fan is only works on speed one of three.
Atlantic, Westy, MY 90.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Well there is not so bad news and there could be bad news for you....
If the fan is only working on number three speed then bad news could be your blower unit is just about to give in and go kaput, mine did the same. If you are getting a lower speed, possibly and this could be happen on number three speed also, either way it could be a resistor has packed in. Good luck.

Or it could be the switch.
Try pulling the connector off the switch and jumpering across the terminals (on the connector) with a thick wire to see if you can get the three speeds that way?

Mine did that - switch change sorted mine thankfully!
