Rusty nuts on the JX exhaust.

On a JX from the turbo to exhaust, the rusty nuts are screwed onto studs which then screw into the turbo.

So in theory a part from an additional ball ache I can remedy the sheared stud and also angle grind the other 3 off without lasting potential if making an expensive mistake?

One bolt removed via the old penetrating/shock spray and a very considered spannering. The nut was so rusted out was the stud unscrewing which was removed.

2 more nuts to go but 1 above the pioe and one in the bend if the pipe. Using the angle grinder to cut the old exhaust pipe to gain access. Now just the rounded, rusted bolt to shift....after bathing the baby if course

Ok old exhaust pipe off, with a little help from the angle grinder and rounded bolt remover bits picked up from screwfix.

Unfortunately there are 2 studs which now need drilling out so gonna take some time I think...

Usually you can get a pair of mole grips or stilsons on there to screw them out.

Use heat first if there's anything left on them studs with mole grips, drill should be last resort
